Toni Elka (BFA Painting ‘86) is the founder and executive leader of Future Chefs, a Boston-based program that empowers youth through culinary arts training and life skills development. Since 2008, Future Chefs has provided pathways for young people to build meaningful careers while developing essential life skills. Toni’s innovative leadership led to the creation of a purpose-built facility in Roxbury/Dorchester, ensuring continued impact. Her work focuses on school-to-career pathways, youth mentorship, and fostering independence for the next generation. Toni is recognized for transforming lives through creativity, leadership, and community-based solutions.
